Sunday Jes is going to be painted as a dog, hopefully with ears and a tail, and will be walking through the streets of London with a sign saying ‘Legalise Dog Fighting, sign our petition’ and I want to cordially invite anyone who would like to come and play with us to follow along besides me with a clipboard and fake petition to outreach horrified members of the public who come up and complain. The party line will be ‘how is dog meat any different to other animals we eat? If it’s wrong to eat animals why aren’t you vegan?’
We will be starting at 10am, outside Victoria Station. Next to the Foch Statue—cos why not? And we will make our way about London for a few hours before finding somewhere to go for lunch—knowing us it will probably be Nice in Soho. We will continue after lunch either doing the same thing, or a more conventional form of TV outreach depending on how many people show up, and then go for dinner afterwards.
Eitherway it’s gonna be a full day of activism promoting kinder, more compassionate choices with good people and nice food. My train home leaves London at 20:05 but you’re all welcome to stay out as long as you like and have a nice meal!
