Blues, Folk, Country and Americana
Two Voices - Two Guitars - 100 Stories. The best of songwriters from John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Mississippi John Hurt, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark and Bruce Springsteen. The wisdom of the ages meets the fresh exuberance of youth.
Jeff Dayton: Guitar and Vocals
Sam Ryden: Guitar and Vocals
From the heart of Minnesota, these born-and-raised native sons are the perfect blend of decades of experience and the freshness of youth. They bring together the rich history of the North Star State's folk, blues and country music with modern Americana and add their own special style to it.
Nashville-based Jeff Dayton has spent his career at the side of stars like Kenny Chesney, Lee Greenwood and Glen Campbell. His songs have been recorded by George Strait and used on Hawaii Five-O and The Voice. He's a prolific writer and his 18th album, Songs From The Walnut Room, has radio airplay across America. He makes several return trips home to play the great music venues of the state and also to inspire and mentor student songwriters.
Northfield native Sam Ryden, only 24 years old, is the future of homegrown artistry. His soaring tenor voice puts a whole new interpretation of classic blues like Muddy Waters and Mississippi John Hurt, adds the wit of John Prine and the soul of Bonnie Raitt and mixes them with his own heartfelt original songs. He's steadily built a devoted Twin City following and his future is stellar.
Together, Sam and Jeff are a delight to enjoy. Don't miss this intimate concert.
