About this Event
Are you ready to learn the ways of the Force? Paduans, Jedis and Siths alike can master the lightsaber fighting style, taught by actor, stuntman and real former Jedi, Andrew Lawden, stand in/double for Liam Neeson’s Qui Gon Jinn in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Dressing up definitely encouraged!

PLEASE NOTE: Ticketholders will be actively participating in duelling activities with props. By attending you accept there is a risk of injury. Ticketholders may be excluded from attendance if they are felt to be under the age of 6, or not to be listening to, or following the host’s, or the Festival’s instructions, or not to be participating in a safe manner. No refunds will be given.
Please ensure that you have read the description of this event in the Festival programme and understand that the people you are booking this/these ticket/s for will be actively participating in duelling activities with props. This is a contact activity. Whilst every care is being taken in the staging of this event, there is an inherent risk of injury with events such as these.
Any member of the Festival team or the event host may require a ticket holder to sit out of all or some of the event if they consider the ticket holder is not aged 6 or older, or if the ticket holder is not following any instructions from the event host or any member of the Festival team, or is not participating in a manner that the instructor feels is safe. The Festival’s and the host’s decisions on such matters are final. No refunds will be given.
