"Singing Through the Darkness" bring together an extraordinary ensemble of Toronto artists: Aviva Chernick, Judith Lander, Lenka Lichtenberg, Theresa Tova, who, along with brilliant musical director Fern Lindzon, draw on their unique musical heritage to revive music of the Holocaust, as well as present original music inspired by this unspeakably dark chapter of human history. With JazzInToronto's Artistic Director Ori Dagan as host, the evening weaves historical storytelling with rich musical performances, illuminating how artists can use creativity as both refuge and resistance in turbulent times. The dynamic concert is at once intimate, moving, and deeply inspiring. The show honours the voices that persisted despite oppression, offering audiences a renewed appreciation for the enduring power of Jewish cultural expression. Following three sold-out evenings at The ROM where this collaboration was commissioned in conjunction with the exhibit "Auschwitz: Not Long Ago. Not Far Away."Sale Dates and Times:
