This workshop will give you the skills you need to crochet in a circle as we make a hat or a pouch. Your choice.
About this Event

Working in Rounds (Jar Cozy)

Date: Thursday, January 15th, 2026 (Continues the third Thursday of each month)

Time: 5:00-6:45PM

Master the technique of working in a round as we crochet a pouch. Weather you want to make something to carry a jar, or a pouch to hold your favorite crystal, this class will teach you how to make a magic ring and work in a circle. Not done by the end of class? No problem—finish it at home and bring your questions to the next session, or send us a message with any questions you have.

Want to take your crochet skills further? You can continue your learning by joining the next class the following week.


In the following class, you’ll learn:
🧵 How to make a classic granny square—a versatile pattern used in many projects

Materials:

It is reccommended that you purchase a set of hooks with different sizes (3mm-6mm). Yarn and hooks will be avaiable to purchase at the workshop, or you can bring your own. Message us if you have any questions.

Ed's Mercantile, 605 Bloor Street West

Investment:

$40 for a single class, plus $5 for materials
