Jazz Middelheim returns in 2026 to the beautiful Park Den Brandt in Antwerp, building on the successful relaunch of last year. The 2025 edition marked the first chapter under a new organisation, reconnecting a long-standing festival with a broad and curious audience. Since 1969, Jazz Middelheim has been a fixture in the Belgian and international jazz landscape, always balancing respect for its rich history with an openness to what lies ahead.
At the heart of Jazz Middelheim 2026 is the idea of expression. Individual voices meet, clash and interact, creating something shared yet uncompromising. After last year’s focus on harmony and flow, this edition leans into contrast, character and exchange. Raw, imperfect and full of emotion, in the way jazz has always found its strength.
From 23 to 25 May 2026, Park Den Brandt once again becomes a place to listen, wander and reconnect with music. Three days during the extended Pentecost weekend, set in a garden in full bloom, where sound and space meet naturally.
