The Jazz Institute of Chicago's Emerging Artist Project presents Isaac Lieb.Join us at Sulzer Regional Library to enjoy a speacial performance from Isaac Lieb. Isaac is a high school guitarist and musician from Evanston. Initially drawn to hip-hop and soul, Lieb developed a passion for jazz under the mentorship of Steve Knight, one of Chicago’s most sought-after voices on the guitar. Now in his senior year with plans to continue studying music in college, Isaac continues to refine his sound with different groups and ensembles across the Chicago area, including the Jazz Institute of Chicago’s Student Council. His main influences include Jim Hall, Kurt Rosenwinkel, John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, and Chick Corea.
