Phoebe Panaretos is an acclaimed performer who gained international recognition when handpicked by Baz Luhrmann to star as ‘Fran’ in the world premiere of Strictly Ballroom: The Musical, earning Helpmann and Green Room Award nominations. Her theatre credits include Dream Lover: The Bobby Darin Musical, Green Day’s American Idiot, David Bowie’s Lazarus, Singin’ in the Rain, and Zorro: The Musical in London. Most recently, Phoebe originated the role of ‘Nancy Sinatra’ in Sinatra: The Musical and performed at New York’s iconic Apollo Theatre.
