Soul.Blues is a special collaboration of four blues and soul masters joining up the musical dots between the two genres. This singular line-up features the multi-award-winning drum legend Sam Kelly, an original member of cult band Cymande who along the way has played with the likes of Robert Plant, Dr John and Gary Moore (on his album Bad For You Baby), Atama Blues Bentley, the much-feted Fijan bluesman on powerhouse guitar and soulful vocals and the noted bassist Richard Sadler, known for his groove playing, studio and band work with Ray Davis, (Kinks) Paul Weller and Tom Jones.
Soul.Blues will be joined by some very special guests for this unique blues and soul showcase including the much feted London based percussionist Sophie Alloway. Sophie played drums for the acclaimed rapper Roots Minerva, touring New Zealand and Australia for two years, before appearing on ‘Later With Jools Holland’ and performing at festivals such as Glastonbury Festival and Hop Farm whilst touring with the Michael Jackson musical “Thriller."
Together with the Ausie keyboard star Jennifer Carr, (Julia Fordham, Beverley Craven, Billy Ocean, Imelda May) who has contributed to six albums by iconic country-soul singer/songwriter Jeb Loy Nichols and backed artists from the legendary Muscle Shoals stable (Bonnie Bramlett, Donnie Fritts and Larry Jon Wilson) in a series of concerts at Cargo in London. These two special guests will be bringing their own unique musicality to this exciting Xmas show.
A word about our seating arrangements:
We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.
We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.
Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.
You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm. Performance starts 7.30 pm
We don't give refunds but if you find you have to cancel, email us to talk about a credit note for another show.
