This brand new show from the well respected jazz singer Sarah L King explores the themes of love and romance along with witty word extracts of letters from unexpected places! Featuring Sarah’s beautifully sung jazz standards and sophisticated original arrangements plus some soulful R&B surprises, her unique brand of soulful jazz has caught the attention of critics and jazz fans alike. “Sarah L King has a voice to luxuriate in, intimate, expressive and beautifully nuanced ….” – Nick Lea, Jazz Views.
Her well received second album “The Light Ahead” (produced by the award winning jazz vocalist Claire Martin OBE) was released this year to much critical acclaim and King is much in demand on the London jazz circuit with her music regularly featured on BBC Radio London, BBC Radio 3 and Jazz FM. From a sell out show at the EFG London Jazz Festival last year to her upcoming Sweden tour this Autumn Sarah L King is certainly going places fast! This is a wonderful opportunity to catch her unique show “Love Letters” together with Sarah’s fantastic musicians, John Crawford on piano, Jakub Cywinski on bass and Matthew Skeaping on drums.
A word about our seating arrangements
We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.
We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.
Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.
You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm. Performance starts 7.30 pm
