This very special concert features the award-winning acoustic guitar virtuosos and composers Antonio Forcione and Giorgio Serci as they team up to present a colourful, story-telling repertoire of passionate and melodic original compositions and atmospheric re-arrangements. The audience is guaranteed a powerfully innovative showcase of wit, personality and musical virtuosity.
Guitar maestro Antonio Forcione is hailed as one of the most charismatic and innovative guitarists at large in the musical world today. With a host of international awards under his belt, and 20 albums released to date, this eclectic composer never ceases to stun his audience on stage, leading him to be referred to as the ‘Jimie Hendrix of the acoustic guitar”. Antonio’s playing breaks the mould of most conventional guitar sounds, be it in the field of jazz, Spanish, African, Brazilian or improvised music, his performances encompassing a ferocious virtuosity, passion and humour. He has shared the stage and recorded with some of the world’s most accomplished musicians including Charlie Haden, Angelique Kidjo, Larry Coryell, Diego el Cigala and many more as well as supporting giants such as Phil Collins, Bobby McFerrin, Zucchero and Van Morrison amongst others. “One of the greatest acoustic guitarists ….“ - The Guardian.
Joining Antonio in this special show is the Sardinian guitarist Giorgio Serci, renowned for his performances and collaborations with prominent international artists such as David Garrett, Ivan Lins and Basia. In his playing Serci seamlessly blends together jazz, classical and world music creating captivating configurations and contemporary jazz harmonies. Critics acclaim Forcione and Serci’s performances as ‘delicate, virtuosic and dynamic’ and as the duo take the stage for this very special show, audiences can expect to be both moved and entertained by the warmth of their unparalleled talent, infectious energy and undeniable chemistry
A word about our seating arrangements
We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.
We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.
Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.
You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm. Performance starts 7.30 pm
