We open the doors of our cozy Jayanagar Salsa Studio once a month for all you lovely people to come, try and learn many interesting & different Salsa things with us.
The Market is pre-booked.
Please buy your tickets in advance to gain access and be a part of it.
Here is the spirited schedule :
8am - 8:30am : Salsa Market commences with the traditional Clave and Conga Rhythms and movements that go with it. Learn how to move to rhythm and percussion.
8:30am - 9am : A Salsa warm up routine that kicks in the Salsa flavour that will stick through the day.
9am - 9:45am : Basic Salsa Footwork to begin to understand how this beautiful dance functions.
9:45am - 10am : Market special Filter coffee and cookies.
10am - 10:30am : Meet and Greet the group and slowly get started with professional techniques of partnering up on the dance floor.
10:30am - 11:15am : Let's put the dance together. Let's do some partner dancing under professional guidance and supervision.
11:15am - 11:30am : Let's review the last hour and understand how to get better.
11:30am - 12noon : Watch Salsa Teachers Archana and Raghuram present a Salsa dance explaining the subtle techniques of how they work through the dance.
12noon - 1pm : Lunch break but the market is available and open for anyone wanting to try dancing with the teachers, get better, learn the techniques with patience, ask doubts, share thoughts, etc.
1pm : Studio doors shut and Market comes to an end to reopen again next month.
