Join a Japanese language session by The Japan Foundation, London inspired by the exhibition Pictograms: Iconic Japanese Designs at Japan House London.During this session, participants can enjoy learning about the Japanese language while experiencing the beauty of modern Japanese design. The introductory session is particularly suitable for young people, such as sixth form and university students aged 16 to 22, who have never learnt Japanese before or who are at beginner level.
Each workshop is followed by a gallery tour of the Pictograms exhibition led by Japan House London staff (optional, approx. 15 minutes).
This event is organized by The Japan Foundation, London with support from Japan House London.
About the instructor
Aramaki-sensei is a Japanese teacher with over a decade of experience guiding students to success especially in GCSE, A level, and JLPT exams. Friendly and passionate, they make learning both effective and enjoyable, while sharing a love of Japanese literature and culture. Their favourite character from The Tale of Genji is Oborozukiyo, admired for her elegance and cool.
