Following the recent passing of my mother Hiroko Kimura whom many of you were familiar with, I am currently in the process of clearing out my mother’s house in preparation for sale in near future.
As my mother left behind large numbers of kimonos, yukatas, kimono belts, Japanese books & -art objects, I have decided upon an indoor yard sale so that these items can find new homes where they will be treated with the care & love they deserve.
Payments will be via VIPPS and all proceeds will be donated to an organization in Oslo that fosters relation between Japan & Norway.

Transport:
Although a villa area, the car parking situation in mother’s neighbourhood is quite strained so visitors are encouraged to use public transport.
The best alternative would be to take the subway to the Storo station, followed by city tram lines 12 or 15, both of which are heading to Kjelsås and disembark at Glads vei tram stop; from there, it is only a short walk for a couple of minutes to my mother’s house.
An alternative could be car parking at the nearby Storo shopping centre (Saturdays are challenging!) from where city tram lines 12 or 15 heading to Kjelsås can be taken. Then one can always drop by my mother's house to pick up larger shopping items by car.

Carrying bags:
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own carrying bags for their purchases.
Having almost completed the clearing of my mother's house, the only carrying bags I can offer on the spot are 125 liter bags of transparent plastic, intended for garbage disposal.
