About this Event

Joining us for this Kitchen Stories will be Tim Anderson, who will be sharing more about his brand new book on our 3rd Floor at our Piccadilly store.

Tim Anderson is a chef, writer and MasterChef champion, who was born and raised in Wisconsin and has been studying Japanese food culture for more than two decades. He has previously published nine cookbooks, including the JapanEasy series, Hokkaido, and the award-winning Tokyo Stories.

In his new book JapanEasy Kitchen, Tim Anderson shares simple, flavour-packed recipes built around essential Japanese ingredients such as miso, soy sauce, mirin, kombu, noodles, tofu, and yuzu. With these widely available staples, you’ll create mains, sides, sweets, and drinks - from Misostrone to Treacle Tamari Ribs. Whether you’re using up what you have or seeking new inspiration, this book offers endlessly delicious ideas.
