Riverside Drive in Austin, TX 78704.Jane Austin Improv, a playful nod to both Jane Austen and Austin, TX, channels the spirit of Jane Austen into a comedy feast! Starting with a single audience suggestion, the cast devises a full-length play on the spot, creating something Jane Austen may have written. Step into a world where the elegance of Regency-era England collides with improv comedy and laugh along as the actors navigate their costumes, horseback riding, complexities of courtship, and the rigid social hierarchy of the early 1800s.
This show celebrates 3 years of Jane Austin Improv! Jane Austin Improv has been nominated six times by the B. Iden Payne committee, recognizing excellence in Austin theatre, and in 2023 they won the Ethel Hinkley Award for Outstanding New Improv Troupe. In 2025, they were also an Austin Chronicle "Best of Austin" finalist for Best Comedy Troupe. They have also been seen on stages across the globe such as San Antonio, Houston, Longview, Minneapolis, San Francisco, and Amsterdam, but you can catch them every first Sunday of the month at Fallout Theater right here in Austin, TX!
