Internationally acclaimed acoustic singer-songwriter James Kirby returns to the stage in 2025/26 with an intimate series of live shows. Known for his heartfelt lyrics, warm vocals, and melodic guitar style, James has built a loyal following through his soulful performances and authentic songwriting.With a fan base spanning across the world, James Kirby isn’t shy in expressing his gratitude for his loyal fans, who regularly travel across the country to hear his upbeat and eclectic sound. His style and influences come from all over, from easy listening, to more blues and percussive style guitar playing, he provides something for everyone at his gigs.
With every performance he brings an authenticity and a genuine love for his music that is infectious. You can’t help but leave with a smile on your face after one of his lively performances.
Inspired by his real life experiences of ‘travel, love and loss’ he enjoys the songwriting process. It’s hard for him to choose a favorite, but the guitar driven track ‘Rising’ stands out to him.
In his own words, ‘I had the idea last year. I’d like to do something to use my status, even as an independent artist using the following I have to raise money and to give something back is important to me. And I was just thinking, what would be really challenging. And I thought to myself, why not run a 10 K whilst playing my guitar and singing!’ Did James run that 10 K? Ask him!

Opening the show is ACMA member Zachary Pierce. This singer-songwriter who hails from Portland, Oregon, Zachary combines the deeply personal storytelling of Todd Snider and with the grand balladry of The Decemberists to craft a thoroughly original Americana repertoire, grounded by his strong baritone and rythmic clawhammer acoustic-guitar style. Audiences are drawn in by his witty and interactive stage presence and kept spellbound by a lyricism that ranges from the intimate to the otherworldly.
