Jak Tomas - the artist formerly known as Joshua Kenneth Grierson, is a self-taught multi-genre singer, songwriter and producer born, raised and based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Since forming his first band (Free Fall) in 1997, Tomas has been a part of various acts (LOVEHUNTER, Breaktime, Neshamah, Big Exit and AGEOFWAVES) covering a number of genres (Piano Rock, Punk, Hardcore/Groove Metal, Alt Rock and Progressive Rock) and instruments, with whom he has toured nationally and internationally. The melodic instincts that have been the bedrock of Tomas’s musical output for over 25 years have filtered into all his projects and are still firmly present, especially in his solo material.
Tomas has always ignited his world-class, country-inflected folk-rock songs with an unstinting passion that’s all-consuming. Known for his explosive and emotionally-drenched live performances, Tomas entrances audiences with his hypnotic songs and voice with its incredible range.

Dave van Vuuren is a South African singer-songwriter whose work moves between the raw edges of rock and the introspection of folk. Born in Westville, KwaZulu-Natal, he first came into the public eye after winning Idols South Africa in 2011, before stepping away from the expectations that followed to carve out a more personal and uncompromising path.
In the years since, he has built a career defined less by spectacle and more by intention, touring extensively across South Africa as both a solo artist and with his band, releasing independent material, and shaping a sound rooted in honesty and emotional weight.
He is also the frontman of Southern Wild, a Cape Town-based band known for its genre-blurring sound and charged live performances. With the band, he has played major festivals and shared stages with international acts including Incubus and The Cure, while continuing to evolve as both a performer and songwriter.
After time spent away from the spotlight, his return to music feels less like a comeback and more like continuation, guided beyond the noise, more certain in voice.
His solo show offers a stripped-back reflection of that journey, with songs shaped by time, distance, and a deepening sense of purpose.
