About this Event
This is not a craft-style class. Participants will work with genuine taxidermy materials and learn foundational mounting techniques used in professional studios.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
• Work with a real pre-skinned and professionally fleshed hide
• Fabricate and install your own ear liners
• Perform minor cleaning and prep work
• Modify your form as needed for proper fit
• Mount and finish your jackalope under guided supervision
• Learn about preservation, anatomy, and mounting principles
Each student will leave with a completed jackalope mount and a deeper understanding of real taxidermy process and structure.
