About this Event
The Women's Network invite you to join a lunchtime panel event, which will explore this year's global theme 'Give to Gain'.
Women give so much; from life and care to the unseen labour that strengthens our families, communities, and institutions. This International Women’s Day, whilst celebrating that generosity, we are calling for meaningful change. It’s time to give back: to build a workplace with true flexibility, more supportive policies, and equitable opportunities for women at all levels of the institution. Because when we invest in women, we all gain; in talent, innovation, loyalty, and powerful, compassionate role models who shape the future.
Join us as we aim to break down barriers to progression caused by systemic inequalities surrounding Women’s Health and Wellbeing at Work.
This special event will be chaired by Professor Annika Bautz and our panel will include:
· Dr Vickie Williams – Researcher from our School of Health Sciences
· Serge McQuillan - Senior Faculty Admin and Public Representative on stakeholder group for Women’s Health at Work (NIHR group)
· Ann O’Neil – CEO of Adora Digital Health
· Dr Anna Connolly – Researcher and Lecturer from our School of Health Sciences and SEND parent carer
· Sorcha Duignan – CEO of Lead with ADHD
The agenda is as follows:
· Lightning talks – panel members will introduce themselves and their area/s of research, interest and involvement
· Panel discussion
· Live audience Q&A
· Post panel networking
Please note that colleagues are able to attend in-person or online.
