About this Event
"3 of Us" is a local Singapore ground-up. We believe in building spaces for people. For this event, a space to connect and be more present.
For 4 hours, we’re going fully offline.
When you arrive, your phone will be placed into a ziplock bag and sealed in front of you. You keep it with you the entire time, but it stays completely untouched until the session ends. No checking, no quick peeks, no “just one second.” Once it’s sealed, it stays sealed for the full 4 hours.
This space is built to help you step out of constant notifications and noise, and into something a lot slower and more grounded. Think of it like a reset button for your attention.
You’re encouraged to bring anything analog and non-digital that helps you enjoy the time. Physical books are the main focus here — actual paper books only, no Kindle or e-readers. You can also bring sketchbooks, journals, notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, or anything creative that doesn’t require a screen. Card games or board games are also welcome if you want to interact with others in a relaxed way.
The vibe is intentionally soft and low-pressure. There’s no expectation to be productive, social, or “doing the most.” You can read quietly by yourself, draw for hours, journal your thoughts, or just sit and let your mind slow down. If conversations happen, they happen naturally. If you prefer silence, that’s completely fine too. It’s a shared space, but everyone is in their own flow.
There’s no rigid structure — the idea is freedom within boundaries. You’re not being told what to do, only what you’re stepping away from.
The one non-negotiable rule is the phone seal. If it’s broken for any reason, you’ll be asked to leave the session immediately. This is to protect the integrity of the space for everyone else.
This isn’t about rejecting technology. It’s just 4 hours to pause it. To let your mind breathe without constant interruption. To remember what focus feels like when nothing is pulling your attention away every few seconds.
Timeline:
1.45pm - Registration opens
2pm - About going Phoneless + Official kickoff!
2pm to 6pm - Once you've checked in, feel free to pick a spot to chill or do your activity or join others in theirs.
6pm to 6.30pm - Wrap up and let's unwrap our d*mn phones together!

Sure! And you may invite a friend along!
Who will I meet?
By making this a ticketed session, we ensure that everyone in the room is there for the right reasons. This is a space for people who genuinely wants to detach from technology to have a space to do it intentionally.
Will there be games, booths, stations?
Everything is ad hoc. Wanna set up an activity? Sure!
There will be tables and chairs set up for you to sit down by yourself and work on your activity. Be it reading a book, drawing, or just relaxing.
Will it be very noisy?
There will be 2 spaces, 1 for quieter activities. Another for group activities, board games.
Why is it so long?
That's the whole point. To have a prolonged period of time to detach ourselves from technology for some time. Feel free to come in midway.
Rules & Your Commitment
- No phones and digital devices - You don't have to stay throughout, but it'll be nice if there's more peeps at the space just doing your own stuff, or together. No apple watches too.

- Photography - We’ll be taking some photos for our IG, but don't worry, we focus on the 'vibe' of the room.
