There will be a one day workshop on the basics of Gyokko Ryu and Koto Ryu - the basics of the Bujinkan martial arts - on Saturday Febuary 7th, in Vicenza, Northern Italy.2026 is the 10th anniversary of the Bujinkan Vicenza Dojo.

THE CITY
Vicenza is UNESCO Heritage Site. It is the birthplace of the famous architect Andrea Palladio, and is dotted with beautiful places downtown and villas in the outskirts.
The training venue is in the city center, which is a pedestrian only area. You will get to walk through beautiful medieval and Renaissance architecture and then go to train. No car needed!
Vicenza city center has fashionable boutiques and lots of jewelry shops. It is the Italian goldsmithing capital!
The city center is connected to the outskirts by numerous bus lines.
HOW TO GET THERE:
- By car
Vicenza is connected to the extensive Italian Highway system.
Lots of underground parking spaces.
- By train
Vicenza is on the main Venice-Milan train line.
The train station and the venue are within walking distance. 15 minutes maximum, more if you stop window shopping along the way.
- By plane
Vicenza is 2.5 hours away by car from Milan Bergamo airport and 1 hour away by car from Venice airport
- By bus
Vicenza is serviced by Flixbus, and can be connected to all major European and Italian cities.
ACCOMODATIONS:
Vicenza has multiple hotels, both in the city center and in the outskirts.

GETTING AROUND
There are a number of US military bases around Vicenza, so hotel and restaurant staff are used to people speaking in English.
THE VENUE
The venue is a multi sport center. There are changing rooms and lockers, but you have to bring your own keylock. Showers are being arranged, stay tuned for details.
The training will be held in a high ceiling basketball court hall.
