Late-night open mics and gritty comedy clubs become his refuge, offering a place to reclaim his voice and confront the truths he’s long avoided.
Meanwhile, Tess, his wife and co-parent, grapples with the sacrifices she’s made for their family. Her own dreams deferred, her identity intertwined with theirs. As they navigate the logistics of divorce and co-parenting, old resentments surface, yet so do moments of mutual understanding and reflection. Their interactions oscillate between tension, humour, and tender vulnerability, highlighting how love, regret, and growth coexist in complicated relationships.
