About this Event
suitable for parents and carers of babies and expecting parents.
Led by NCT volunteers, our NCT Walk and Talk groups give new and expectant
parents the opportunity to:
- get outdoors with their babies on a safe and accessible route
- improve their mental health and wellbeing
- make new friends and feel part of a community
- Join us for a leisurely stroll around the lakes of Rickmansworth Aquadrome. If you book a ticket we’ll know to look out for you but the walk is free and open to all!
We’ll meet at the tree between the cafe and the car park at for a buggy friendly walk together with local volunteers who will be wearing an NCT high vis or a lanyard.
We will set off around 2.10pm clockwise around Bury Lake, so if you're running late feel free to try to catch us up or head right of the cafe to the entrance to Batchworth Lake and we'll pick you up on our way around.
There is plenty of free parking off Frogmore Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB and a cafe selling a range of drinks and snacks, as well as toilets and Baby changing available.
Please note, if it is over 36°C or pouring with rain, the walk will be cancelled - although please be reassured most of the walk is in the shade.
