Irrigation Audit Workshop

This class introduces participats to the fundamentals of irrigation systems, focusing on practical knowledge and best practices recommended by UF/IFAS. Topics include:

• System Components: Understanding what makes up an irrigation system.
• Sprinkler head Types: Explroing the different options and their uses.
• Timer Setup: How to properly set and adjust irrigation controllers.
• UF/IFAS Guidelines: Recommended irrigation amounts for healthy landscapes.
• Hands-On Demonstrations: In-field exercises on collecting irrigation output to evaluate distribution and uniformity.

Participants will also take home Irrigation collection cups to be able to audit their own irrigation systems.
