Do you have what it takes to continue your journey and earn your ticket to compete at the FINA World Championship in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in Speed Finals, Endurance Finals, and Ninja vs. Ninja Finals?
Similar to qualifiers throughout the season, Sectionals will consist of two separate events: a Speed Event and an Endurance Event. Athletes must qualify at Speed Qualifiers to be eligible for Speed Sectionals, and qualify at Endurance Qualifiers to be eligible for Endurance Sectionals. Not sure of your qualification status? The FINA Speed course at Sectionals will be designed to force you to step on the gas, and not slow down until you hit the buzzer! The course will consist of 8 obstacles that pit the athlete versus the clock; and all athletes will still get TWO chances to beat the clock.
The FINA Endurance course at Sectionals will be designed for the athlete that may not win in a foot race, but has ALL-DAY grip strength. The course will consist of 12 obstacles that will test an athlete’s ability to push through the pain and hang on until there is nothing left in the tank! You only get one chance on the course, so make it count.
The top eight finishers in Speed in each division will punch their tickets to the FINA Speed Finals in Harrisburg. If we have more than eight clears on the Speed course, we will take up to an additional two full clears per division, for a possible total of ten qualifiers per division.
The top eight finishers in Endurance in each division will punch their tickets to the FINA Endurance Finals in Harrisburg. If we have more than eight clears on the Endurance course, we will take up to an additional two full clears per division, for a possible total of ten qualifiers per division.
All athletes who qualify for Speed OR Endurance Finals will also be eligible to register for Ninja vs. Ninja Finals in Harrisburg!
Athletes who participate in ALL 3 FINALS EVENTS (Speed Finals, Endurance Finals, AND Ninja vs. Ninja Finals) are eligible for FINA World Championship medals and awards. Please go to FINA.ninja/finals-2026/ for more information
