Join us for a St. Patrick's Day tasting of five delicious whiskeys from the Emerald Isle. Sip, savour, learn something and enjoy the craic!
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day (on the actual day itself!) we will be exploring the diverse world of Irish whiskey. They demonstrate the key points that differentiate Irish whiskey from others. Learn a bit of the history, how it is made, the current boom happening in the Irish industry and about each whiskey that you are tasting as Matt talks you through them.
The tasting will take place at The Haverstock Tavern, a fabulous pub on Haverstock Hill, NW3. This is just five minutes walk from Chalk Farm underground station (Northern Line / Edgware branch). Several local bus routes also stop nearby - routes 1, 31, 393 and C11.
The tasting will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Please feel free to arrive early for a pre-tasting drink or bite to eat. They have a great selection of craft beers and good wine list.
No previous whisky knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and interest.
All guests are asked to Drink Responsibly.
Strictly over 18s only. Please bring ID if you are lucky enough to look close to that age.
