"Supporting Growth and Healing Through Deep Feeling Process"
Please come for the IPA Spring Retreat at the Wellspring Conference Center in Germantown, Maryland (30 minutes from Washington D.C.). Comfortable rooms and delicious food will be offered.
In the mornings (May 15-18), we will have men’s and women’s groups followed Mat Track (supported primal groups). In the afternoons, we have two special invited presenters.
On Saturday, May 16, Lynn Turner will present The Nuts and Bolts of Relationship Communication. Using various exercises, Lynn will show the good, bad, and indifferent ways to communicate in any relationship. Be prepared to interact, share, laugh, and have your heart touched.
On Sunday, May 17, Elena Khazanova will offer a workshop on the ways the nervous system learns safety, satisfaction, and connection through direct experience. She will help bring us from fleeting glimmers to embodied traits, and from individual change to shared resonance.
Other workshops may be offered including Intro to Primal, breathwork, Interplay, Enneagram, art, poetry, authentic movement, psychodrama, and Nonviolent Communication.
In the evenings, we will have peer groups to integrate what we experienced during the day, make music, perform for one another in Cabaret, and dance at the closing party.
The retreat begins on Thursday, May 14 (4:00 p.m. check-in, dinner at 6:30 p.m.). Everyone will get a temperature check on arrival. If elevated, a COVID test will be done. No one with a positive test will be allowed to stay at the retreat. The retreat ends Monday, May 18 after lunch.
The International Primal Association (IPA) is a nonprofit educational organization that strives to create a safe space to experience and integrate deep feelings, and support authenticity in a fully embodied way. We are creating a community that promotes acceptance, kindness, honesty and self-discovery.
Rates for this retreat are on a sliding scale based on your annual income:

$15k - $49,999: $280
$50k - $99,999: $400
Above $100,000: $490
Daily Rate (per night):
Below $15,000: $60
$15k - $49,999: $85
$50k - $99,999: $120
Above $100,000: $145
After May 1, add $10 per day. Non-members, add $30 per day or consider joining for the calendar year 2026 and save the non-member surcharge.
