The Garage takes over BlackRock Center for the Arts for “Punk Rock Prom!” A fundraiser for local nonprofit Girls Rock! DC. This organization encourages queer/femme youth to get involved in the local music and arts scene through summer camps, classes, and performance opportunities. For this event we’ll be showcasing a handful of the DMV’s up and coming femme fronted punk bands: Mac N Toss, Courage Mother, shame shame, JEER, Sugar Engine, and Gamberros. We invite you all to Germantown, MD, in your finest attire to help us raise money for a good cause while creating a space in our community for all ages to come out and express themselves through music!
$10 Early Bird Tickets are available! Offer ends 5/23/2026. Tickets at the door will be $15!
This is an all ages sober show. Doors will open at 5PM. Concessions will be available for purchase. Formal attire is strongly encouraged!

Mac N’ Toss is a Wammie award winning DC-based riot grrrl trio making unapologetically feminist music for women, femme, and queer people. Their recent community music festival event, Riot! DC - whose proceeds partially benefited the Sexual Violence Prevention Association - made headlines in The Washington Post, WAMU, WTOP, and more.
