Hello Neighbors!We’re reaching out from Trinity Neighborhood Center with a warm invitation to be part of a community-centered Earth Day celebration right here in Battle Creek. We are also hoping you can help us. Our Executive Director has attended your CraneFest and really enjoyed the vendors there. We feel this might be another great community activity that they might become a part of. If you might be willing to share your vendor list with us, or be willing to share our information with your vendors, we would greatly appreciate it!
This event is all about neighbors coming together, especially families, kids, and residents in an underserved neighborhood, to learn, share, create, and imagine a healthier future—creating a healthy environment and appreciating the bio-diversity that makes for such an amazing planetfor our environment and our community.
We’re inviting local organizations, makers, educators, and advocates to join us as community partners or collaborators by hosting a hands-on activity, sharing information, offering a demo, or simply showing up with your passion for people and the planet.
We’re especially excited about ideas that are:
Interactive and kid-friendly
Practical and hopeful
Rooted in Battle Creek and our shared space in and around our city!
Think planting, fixing, creating, learning, storytelling, movement, or simple ways neighbors can care for the land and each other.
