Chaired by Lara Carmona, Creative UK’s Director of Policy and Engagement, this panel will explore how growth can be achieved through targeted investment across the UK, using the Create Growth Programme (CGP) and the North East Culture and Creative Investment Programme (CCIP) as two clear examples of success. With insights from Stephen Welton, Chair of the British Business Bank, as well as representatives from central government and the North East Combined Authority, this session will also reflect on the value of creative placemaking, where ROI is both economic and social.
