Name an instrument we haven't yet had at Inverness Jazz Club. Vibraphone! We're excited to welcome John Settle who will be joining us on May 31st. Based in Wakefield, John has been busy performing vibraphone all over the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas with New York Brass Band, UK trombone star Dennis Rollins, US alto sax legend Greg Abate, The Glenn Miller UK Orchestra and numerous jazz combos and big bands. He has led his own groups Vibe-ology, Os Caras (a tribute to drummer Edison Machado) and ¡Ritmo Caliente!, a centenary tribute to vibist Cal Tjader. He recently appeared on BBC6 Music in a live Maida Vale session and at Glastonbury 2025, both with Orchestra Mambo International.
