Always wanted to try watercolor but didn’t know where to start? Or maybe you did start… and things got a little muddy (literally). This class is your reset. We’ll break watercolor down to the essentials—paper types, brushes, how to actually hold the brush, and the core techniques every watercolor painter needs. We’ll talk water control (how much is too much), color mixing without the mud, how to break in a new palette, and how to set yourself up with the right tools moving forward—without overbuying or overthinking.
This is a relaxed, no-pressure class designed to make watercolor feel approachable, not intimidating. Questions are encouraged, perfection is not.
We’ll wrap things up by putting everything into practice so you leave with a finished watercolor piece—and more importantly, the confidence to keep painting at home.
Perfect for:
Brand-new beginners
“I skipped the basics” painters
Anyone craving a clean, confidence-boosting reset
Come curious. Leave confident. Watercolor finally makes sense.
