Join Sony United Kingdom for an Introduction to Video workshop at the Sony Penthouse inside W London, in the heart of Soho.
Led by Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Eric Peng, this beginner-friendly session is designed for those taking their first steps into video using a Sony Alpha or Cinema Line camera. Eric will break down the fundamentals of video in a clear, accessible way — from understanding frame rates and shutter speed to resolution, workflow, and creative intent.
Across this one-hour session, you’ll be guided through the basics of pre-production, production, and post-production, helping you build a strong foundation and confidence to start creating video content with purpose.

Who can attend
This event series is open to all ages.
Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
All participants must hold a valid ticket.

- Your own camera (any brand welcome)
- Two high-capacity, high-speed SD cards (recommended: 128GB, V30 or higher)
- Water bottle and a small snack

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session start time.
Due to the tightly scheduled programme, late arrivals may not be accommodated and tickets may be forfeited.
W London Hotel arrival instructions:
Take the lift to Level 1 Reception and wait for a Sony or W London team member, who will escort you to the Penthouse at the start of your session.
