In partnership with the Nelson City Council we are able to deliver an introductory course to the Māori arts. This full day event will cover some the origin stories of ngā toi Māori and have an opportunity to create and make your own kōwhaiwhai panel.We will explore the various patterns and their uses and identify aspects of our region that can be represented through Māori art.
This event will be hosted at our Tātou Studios venue at 97 Pascoe Street, Tāhunanui.
