Introduction to the Art of Pole Dance

This beginner-friendly class breaks everything down into simple, achievable steps. You'll be surprised at what your body can do as you build strength, coordination, and confidence in a supportive, encouraging environment.

What is Pole Movement? Pole dance combines dance and fitness into an empowering art form that's accessible to everyone. You'll develop body awareness and strength at your own pace. This intro class provides the building blocks for your pole journey in a fun, safe environment.

What You'll Learn in Intro Classes:

• Foundational spins and transitions
• Proper warm-up techniques & conditioning exercises
• Turning individual moves into dance through sensory awareness
• Ways to tune into your body's natural rhythm
• How to flow between movements

What to Bring:

• Short-sleeve top and shorts or leggings
• Basic knee pads or leg warmers recommended
• No lotions/oils on skin prior to class, no jewelry

Important Notes:

1. Absolutely no experience needed, no dance background, and no prerequisites
2. All body types and fitness levels welcome
3. Small class size for personalized attention
4. Please plan ahead for traffic, parking, etc. Doors lock AT class time as the instructor is managing the door and is focused on class experience for the students. Plan to be 10-15 mins early as first-time students need to get oriented to setup.
