Podcast producer Simon Treen will take you through planning, recording, editing and publishing your podcasts.
This workshop is perfect for any beginners who want to dip their toes into the world of podcasting.
To being with the group will explore pre-production and planning. How do you choose your show name? How do you find copyright free music and create copyright free art work for your show and episodes?
The group will learn about recording options – where and how to record, what to record with and what do you need to get recorded for your show? There will be discussion around dynamic and static intros, getting recordings into the editing software and the naming and backing up your files.
After this you'll look at different editing techniques – what and how to cut. Do you need to edit?
Moving on, the group will look at podcast hosting sites and where to post and publish your show.
And finally, we’ll discuss marketing your show and looking for your audience.
