This introductory training provides a framework for understanding mental wellbeing and mental distress, and what we can do to support it. Participants will learn how to recognize signs and symptoms of common mental illness and traumas, and how they can respond to people displaying signs of mental distress. The goal is for any community to become a network of support to each other, as well as to support our own self-care.
