Join us for an introduction to meditation on Sunday, May 5 at Balanced Being (Upstairs). The class will begin at 8:30AM and last 1 hour. For those who have never meditated before or those looking to develop a more consistent and powerful practice, this class is for you. Each class begins and ends with meditation. The middle part will be discussion on subjects like mindfulness, detachment, and personal power.
About the teacher
James is a Buddhist initiate and meditation teacher. He has been engaged in a disciplined meditation practice for over 5 years . He enjoys making meditation accessible to people of different cultural and religious backgrounds. His particular focus is helping students integrate meditation and mindfulness into their daily lives.
