In this beginner’s knitting class, students will learn to interpret a pattern and select materials and yarn. Casting on, basic knitting stitches and processes, and finishing seams will be covered. Students will work on a simple project that they can take home. No experience necessary. All materials will be provided.This class is geared toward someone who has never knit before, as well as someone who hasn’t knit in a while and who wants to brush up on their skills. Expect a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of time for practice and individual attention. By the end of this 6-week session, you will be taught to cast on, bind off, knit, and purl.
