<h4>NAPA is delighted to host this event in conjunction with AHN Education and Training</h4>
This training is aimed at anyone with an interest in intergenerational practice. It is particularly useful to those people working in settings where intergenerational practice is being considered or is already taking place. The training is suitable and recommended for all stakeholders. No prior knowledge or skills are needed.
The aim of the course is to provide learners with a basic understanding of the principles of Intergenerational work. Throughout the day you will have considerable opportunity to interact, discuss and plan intergenerational activities with other course attendees. Learning is assessed via a series of online quizzes at the end of each of the 4 learning outcomes.
Learning outcomes:
LO1. Understand the principles of Intergenerational work
LO2. Understand how different Intergenerational programmes meet the needs of the participants.
LO3. Understand key benefits and challenges of Intergenerational work for all age groups involved.
LO4 Understand the need to plan and evaluate Intergenerational activities
<h4>This is an interactive session therefore learners are advised to join on individual laptops</h4>Attendees will receive a handbook, presentation materials and a certificate of attendance
