About this Event

The sessions for young people will be led by filmmaker and artist Louis Price, and will provide you with the foundations of what goes into moviemaking, including screenwriting, producing, directing and cinematography.

Whether you have made films before, or have always been curious what goes into filmmaking, these fun and practical workshops are the perfect way to hone your skills!

These sessions are great for:

  • Learning about screenwriting techniques, producing & directing, sound design and how to use editing software.
  • Meeting other, like-minded creatives


Time: 11:00am - 12:30pm

Dates: Sunday 12th, 19th & 26th April 2026

Age: 12 -18-year-olds

Location: Nuneaton Library, Let's Make Room

About Louis Price: Louis is a Midlands based filmmaker and lecturer. His short films and documentaries have been screened internationally at festivals including Sundance Film Festival, Sheffield Doc Fest, Berlinale, Glasgow Film Festival and Dinard. He co-ran the documentary production company November Films for over 10 years, and lectures in experimental film and production design at MetFilm Birmingham. He is a member of Auricle, a collective of filmmakers, directors, sound designers who create interactive installations for museums and art spaces internationally, recent projects include ‘The Passenger’ at ExilMuseum in Berlin.
