In this workshop, we will look at how you develop earth pigments and lake pigments from botanicals in order to be able to make oil-based inks. We will work on grinding our own pigments and binding them into an oil-based medium. You will also get to experiment with oil-based relief printmaking using botanical materials and the inks you have created. You will be able to take home your own handmade inks!
