This year, Military Medical Industry Day (MMID) joins with the San Antonio Military Health and Universities Research Forum (SURF) and the BexarBio Pitch Competition in a comprehensive 2-day conference, AIM 2024. AIM 2024 brings together medical researchers and commercialization professionals from academia, industry and the military to network, share research, and learn about transitioning dual-use medical technology into the military.

This webinar will provide tips to get the most benefit out of the 2-day conference and it will introduce you to three military medical research units in San Antonio, the Naval Medical Research Unit-San Antonio (NAMRU-SA), and the Brooks Army Medical Center (BAMC), and the Department of the Veterans Affairs. Representatives from these organizations with discuss their organization’s research and development mission, organizational structure, and provide tips on how best to work with them. This information better prepares you for the one-on-one meetings and networking at AIM 2024.
