Intro to Paddling at Pomp's Pond

We will discuss the differences between kayaks and canoes and the gear that's required for each (paddles, life jackets, clothing, shoes).Also, we will go over how to get in and out of kayaks and canoes safely, how to be stable and keep the boats going straight using basic strokes, and understanding the basic physics of moving through water.Safety and fun will be stressed. Boats, paddles and life jackets will be provided.
