Intro to Improv 1 with Taz Weekdays Aug 24 to Aug 28

In this class you will learn the basics you’ll need to dive confidently into the world of improv. You will learn the terminology used in improvisation, how to build the basic scene, what makes a good offer, and what an “offer” is. You’ll get to know the value of playing at the height of your intelligence, and understand the importance of joy in live improv. You’ll also have a great, great time.

By the time you’re finished with Intro 1, your final showcase will be a breezy walk in a crazy fun park; you'll be ready to move onto Intro 2 feeling confident in making offers, supporting your scene partner, and being on stage.

Please note:

• This class is for folks ages 18+

Venue Accessibility - The venue is accessible from the street level with no steps up – the main door has a significant lip, but the side door (which will be unlocked for classes) is level to the sidewalk. Click here for more info!

Show Day Information - Wondering when your shows are? 95% of BTC shows are on Wednesday nights at 7PM or 9PM. Your exact show schedule will be sent out the week of your first class!

Refunds & Cancellations – a 100% refund is available up to two weeks before your class begins. Within two weeks of the class start, registration is non-refundable.
