Intro to Bondage with Goddess Mak is a welcoming, hands-on class designed for anyone curious about exploring the art of bondage in a safe and empowering way. Taught by Goddess Mak, this class provides an introduction to the physical, psychological, and emotional aspects of bondage, with an emphasis on building trust, communication, and consent. Perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their foundations, this class invites you to discover how bondage can deepen intimacy, creativity, and playfulness.

Participants will learn basic techniques, including safe ways to tie, restraint options, and how to negotiate boundaries before engaging in bondage play. Goddess Mak will also highlight important safety practices—such as circulation checks, safe words, and aftercare—to ensure every experience remains positive and supportive. This is a fully clothed event with no live sex, keeping the focus on education and practical skill-building in a respectful environment.

By the end of the class, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to start incorporating bondage into your own explorations, whether for sensuality, connection, or artistry. Most importantly, you’ll leave with a better understanding of how to engage in bondage in ways that honor your partner’s limits as well as your own desires.

About Your Instructor: Goddess Mak is a kink educator, dominatrix and proud Black queer woman from Chicago. Her interest in kink began 15 years ago when she met a domme in a human sexuality seminar course. That interaction birthed a curiosity that would blossom into one of her greatest joys- being a Femme-Domme. She’s passionate about empowering women and creating spaces for them to learn, grow and heal together. She currently teaches how to use restraints at Sexploratorium kink tastings, leads a monthly women’s empowerment circle and educates kinksters on domme-ing and more.
