Come join us at the 5th Annual #PortlandBackcountryNight on Sunday, Dec 14th, 2025, organized by Emgee Events LLC! There will be great presentations, raffle prizes, expert brand reps with hands-on demo gear, music and tasty FREE beverages!
TICKET & RAFFLE PROCEEDS ALL BENEFIT (Inclusive Ski Touring) and POW (Protect Our Winters) 501(c)3 NON-PROFITS.
The goals of this event are: to expose new (and existing) backcountry participants to the knowledge and gear they will need to safely explore avalanche terrain; to learn about upcoming events, on-snow demo opportunities and accessible touring zones in New England; to make local connections and meet new potential backcountry partners; to touch, feel and test the industry's best equipment, with experts on hand to answer your questions; to raise important funds for IST & POW; to foster broad inclusivity and diversity in the outdoor space; and to get FIRED UP for winter!
In the RAFFLE, you can win handsomely: Mammut Barryvox 2 avalanche safety package (beacon+shovel+probe), insulated jacket & hardshell pants; Jones splitboard; Spark R&D splitboard gear; AIARE course OR guided ski touring / splitboarding from Northeast Mountaineering; 4 free Killington lift tickets from Mammut; big prizes from Ski The Whites... and lots more!
All event ticketholders receive (1) free raffle ticket upon check-in and can purchase more on site. 100% of raffle ticket sales are donated to Protect Our Winters & Inclusive Ski Touring, 501(c)3 nonprofits dedicated to combating climate change and expanding access to ski touring and splitboarding.
Adults 21+ can enjoy complimentary beverages from Austin Street, Kit NA and Sierra Nevada; 21+ ID strictly enforced.
DJ Ninjah Nick will be spinning great music, and a food truck will be on site with delicious food (cash or card.)

REFUND POLICY: No refunds; if you can't attend, your ticket fee will be donated to Inclusive Ski Touring & Protect Our Winters non-profits (divided equally), OR you may transfer your ticket to someone else. Please contact the organizer to initiate ticket transfers.
