About this event:

Ezri Musa's approach to martial arts instruction centers on treating each student with dignity, equity, and patience. Encouraging thought, self-expression and a diversity of voices. She frames martial arts as a cultural art form, focusing on body movement, balance, reaction time, situational/spatial awareness and the relationship between these pieces while providing a welcoming space for students of all levels to grow.
About Wing Chun Kung Fu:
Musa Martial Arts teaches a Southern Chinese form of martial arts called Wing Chun kung fu. This style is considered a soft form, using the opponent’s strength and momentum as the basis of defense. Students who study Wing Chun develop a stronger understanding of their own bodies, spatial awareness, balance and reflexes. Ip Man was among the most renowned teachers of this style and notably taught Hong Kong and American martial artist Bruce Lee.
