About this Event
Atelier Rose presents a rare and intimate acoustic concert in Paris.
For the first time ever, acclaimed singer-songwriter Rett Madison performs in Paris, joined by Canadian, Paris-based artist Lindsay Kay for a special evening of stripped-down, acoustic music.
Both artists are known for their emotionally resonant songwriting and haunting, intimate performances. This night offers a unique chance to experience their music up close, in its most essential form.
Set in a candle-lit, quiet space, this concert invites deep listening, softness, and presence.

About the Artists
Rett Madison is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, CA. She has been featured in publications like Billboard, American Songwriter, and Rolling Stone, where her music was described as “simultaneously brazen and vulnerable,” giving her a place “in the new school of acclaim-worthy troubadours.” She has sung backing vocals for artists such as Lorde and Kate Nash and served as opener for artists such as Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Lake Street Dive, Jewel, Elle King, The Fray, Grace Potter, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Mountain Goats, Medium Build, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Shawn Colvin, Theo Katzman, Trousdale, Fitz and the Tantrums, and more.
Madison has released two studio albums, “Pin-Up Daddy” and “One for Jackie” released under Warner Records, and is currently writing and recording her third studio album produced by Tyler Chester. In support of her album “One for Jackie”, Madison made her television debut performing her single “Flea Market” on Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2023 as well as CBS Saturday Morning in 2024. Highlight performances of 2024 include Madison’s debut appearances at Carnegie Hall, Newport Folk Festival, Americanafest, and Austin City Limits.
Lindsay Kay is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Paris whose work has been described as “ethereal, melancholy, and dabbles in unreality while keeping gracefully attached to this world” (New Sick Music). A graduate of Berklee College of Music, her debut album For the Feminine, by the Feminine — an eight-song meditation on femininity — was written and produced entirely by Kay and created with an all-female team. The album has been praised as “a manifesto of solidarity and inclusion” (No Depression) and earned her an Independent Music Award for her rendition of “Lush Life.”
Kay’s interdisciplinary practice spans music, literature, and performance, with work presented across North America and Europe. Her music videos have screened at international film festivals, and she has been an artist in residence at institutions including JIWAR (Spain), The Banff Centre (Canada), and La Porte Peinte (France). She has received support from the Canada Council for the Arts, FACTOR, the SOCAN Foundation, and more, and holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from the University of Kent (Paris). She is the founder of Atelier Rose, a Paris-based nonprofit offering creative writing and songwriting workshops, and is currently at work on a new album and a book-length memoir.
